The part where I’m supposed to edit dovecot-openssl.cnf doesn’t make sense to me because there isn’t a directory named /usr/local/share/dovecot — also I’m not enable to do ./mkcert.sh

Thanks very much for this posting, it really is helping me test my set up of my mail server. Which is why some would use telnet to send email.

By the way, did you pass the CCNA exam? Hope you are working somewhere much better than McDs.

That setting drives me absolutely insane. Microsoft should have allowed us to change the default instead of having to remember to do this every time I am creating a distribution group which is meant for external access……..GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!! I have enough crap to try to remember as it is and don’t need to waste my time filling up my head with useless info like this.

(just got burned by this for about the tenth time ……….)
